The Clock, as it's lovingly known by the Gizmologists, is a clock on display outside of the mechatronics lab in the mechanical engineering building at the University of Virginia. This was the project that started the Gizmologists, featuring a rotating metallic shell when the time changes, a laser cut, acryllic cover, and LEDs to show the time. Each part was masterfully crafted in order to provide a maintainable, impressive project.
Students took a total of 2 years on the project, going through many iterations in order to get to the final product.
